Bagelmania New Flagship Location

Shulman Says

When Siegel’s Bagelmania won the “Best Bakery” category, in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s 2020 “Best of Las Vegas” awards; it was located near UNLV, as it has been since opening in 1989. But times change, and on Friday, May 28, Steve Siegel’s paean to New York delicatessen fare is moving into its new flagship location, on Convention Center Drive, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center’s new West Hall Expansion.

What I have been assured will most definitely remain the same in the glorious new 10,000-square-foot venue, are the boiled New York-style bagels, the from-scratch Jewish comfort food recipes, and the homemade cookies and pastries. That said, the new Bagelmania space—open daily from 6am to 5pm, with plans to go 24/7 in the near future—will include an expansive dining room, a private dining area for parties and events, and a spacious outdoor patio area, as well as a sprawling to-go deli and bakery featuring a pop-up Pinkbox Doughnuts, a full bar serving signature cocktails, and (being Vegas) some gaming, too.

“From a young age, I frequented famous Los Angeles delis, admiring the food and atmosphere in them. My lifelong experience and love of the food and concept is what inspired me to build a new, large, modern, yet authentic Jewish bakery and delicatessen, something Las Vegas has never had before,” Siegel explains.

Siegel’s Bagelmania will continue to serve an array of sandwiches piled high with toppings that are all made from scratch. Beloved staples, including the Rueben Siegel (your choice of pastrami, corned beef, or turkey, piled high and topped with melted swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing, on grilled homemade rye), the Yiddish Bird (your choice of bagel, stacked with turkey and bacon, smothered in chive schmear, and topped with tomato and sprouts), and the Un-Orthodox (an egg salad sandwich topped with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato), will still be front-and-center. Meanwhile, the craving-inducing expanded menu will feature mouthwatering burgers, loaded hotdogs, decadent desserts, cakes and pastries, irresistible shakes and floats, an expanded breakfast menu—featuring the New School, a breakfast sandwich of eggs, melted cheddar, your choice of bacon or sausage, and a chive schmear, on your choice of bagel—and premium coffees.

Says Siegel, “We can’t wait to open and introduce our amazing food and iconic location to our customers from across the valley as well as the many convention attendees who travel to Las Vegas every year from around the world.”
